Aleksander Cezary Adamczyk - OLO the MIME

History -
- To 1990 he was working as an actor in the Warsaw Theatre of Pantomime and in the Scena Ruchu Theatre in Lublin. He is still cooperating with the latter. The play "Kalejdoskop" was performed in Hanover - EXPO 2000.
- His artistic achievements made it possible for him to work as an actor in the television business. Cooperation with Andrzej Wajda "Kronika wypadków miłosnych", Wojciech Pijanowski, Dariusz Goczał.
- His greatest personal success is the Grand Prix of The International Film Festival in Prague for the television play "Guernica". He wrote the screenplay and designed the choreography to this play.
- Olo the mime during the last few years cooperates with Wojtek Waglewski's band: Voo Voo (One of the greatest Polish bands).
- In 1990 Olo established his own Theatre of Pantomime. He became a stage manager. From 1990 to 2000 Theatre of Pantomime was performing four different spectacles. Theatre achieved many successes and won many prizes on the national festivals in Poland.
- From 1999 Olo is managing "Therapy via Theatre" program with handicapped people.
From 2001 as OLO the MIME.

OLO the MIME - cabaret -
      He has begun his solo career since 2001 as Olo the mime. In his art he comes back to the roots of the classical pantomime.
     The main source of his inspiration is Pierrot who symbolises immortality of this form of art. Olo the mime uses gesture, movement, sign and all the means of expression, which have the ability to reach the spectator faster and more dynamically than words. Simplicity and expressiveness are features that characterize his acting. He presents a grotesque image of the everyday life and fiction in his etudes.
